Dr Jihad Malasi

MD, MRCGP, DFSRH, MSc SFFMLM, MSc

Dr. Malasi is a General Practice expert with over 20 years of experience, focusing on primary care, global health, and health economics. He has lived in multiple regions and served as an ex-CCG clinical chair, significant projects in hospital transformation, stroke reconfiguration, and mental health Currently, he is the Clinical Lead for Mental Health at Kent and Medway ICS and works with NICE on MedTech digital technologies. A Senior Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, he holds an executive MSc in Health Economics from L and an MSc in Global Healthcare Leadership from Keele University.

Dr Jihad Malasi

Dr. Malasi is a seasoned GP and healthcare leader with 20 years of clinical and strategic experience. He has held prominent positions within the NHS, including CCG Clinical Chair, Clinical Lead for Mental Health at Kent & Medway ICS, and GP Tutor for NHS England. As a committee member NICE MedTech and digital technologies, he has led significant initiatives in hospital transformation, stroke reconfiguration, and mental health, and provides expertise to NHS England’s Global Health Consortium on international primary care policy. With fellowships and advanced degrees in health economics and global healthcare leadership, he offers a distinctive viewpoint on primary care, mental health, and health systems.

Dr. Matea Deliu

MD/MBBS, PhD, MRCGP Clinical Lead Primary Care Digital Delivery, Digital Health Leadership Programme Fellow, NHS South East London Integrated Care System.

Dr. Matea Deliu is an academic GP, Clinical Lead for Primary Care Digital Delivery, and Clinical Safety Officer at NHS Southeast London ICB. She also leads the Southeast London Workforce Implementation Plan. Her expertise includes digital innovation, AI analytics, service redesign, and program delivery. With a PhD in Health Informatics, she combines academic research with practical implementation to modernise primary care, optimise patient pathways, and ensure safety. As an Expert-in-Residence at London Business School and a digital adviser to start-ups, she develops strategy for compliant, scalable health tech solutions, leading teams to create virtual wards, remote-monitoring services, and AI tools to improve outcomes, equity, and efficiency.
