Stephen Riley

Stephen Riley is a senior healthcare leader and registered pharmacist with over 18 years of experience across the NHS, private, and voluntary sectors. He currently serves as Deputy Regional Chief Pharmacist at NHS England Northwest and is a member of the GPhC Fitness to Practice Committee. Riley has held national policy roles, chaired multiple pharmacy committees, and worked with organizations like the PDA, Pharmacist Support, NICE, and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. He is a strong advocate for professional development, inclusion, and diversity in healthcare.

Yousaf Ahmad

A highly accomplished senior healthcare executive with extensive board-level experience, he has led strategic initiatives across the NHS and corporate sectors. He serves as a Non-Executive Director, Expert Advisory Board Member, Digital Health Expert, Global Pharmacy Ambassador, School Governor, and University Educator. With a strong commitment to innovation and healthcare transformation, he plays a pivotal role in shaping policies, advancing digital health solutions, and fostering global collaborations.

Uzo Ibechukwu

Uzo Ibechukwu is Director of Pharmacy at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust and previously ICS Chief Pharmacist for Bath, Swindon, and Wiltshire ICB. A leader in inclusive healthcare, Uzo has driven regional initiatives in workforce development, research and innovation and culturally competent care. He is a passionate advocate for healthcare equity and community research engagement across health and social care. Beyond his formal roles, Uzo actively contributes to social and professional development initiatives, mentoring emerging healthcare leaders and championing inclusive talent pipelines. His work reflects a deep belief in the power of people and culture to transform healthcare systems from within.

Fin McCaul
FRPharmS, Vice Chair & CPE Regional Representative, Pharmaceutical services negotiating committee

Fin is Managing Director of Prestwich Pharmacy and his role at CPGM involves leading on contractor engagement and workforce development. As well as his role as a Committee Member, Fin has worked with a variety of public health groups and is currently the Long-Term Conditions Lead for NHS Bury working with GPs, other primary care providers and secondary care. Fin also speaks and delivers training at local and national events on smoking cessation, weight loss, professional development, and change management. Fin was made a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2016 in recognition of his service to pharmacy and has been a CPE Regional Representative for the Northwest since 2017.

Zehra Safdar

Zehra Safdar has an 18-year career in primary care, specialising in out-of-hospital workforce transformation, Training and organisational development. She has held several senior positions across London, working with Integrated Care Systems (ICS), Federations, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), and NHS England.
Currently, Zehra serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Southwest London Training Hub and works as a healthcare consultant working across organisations, specialising in workforce, organisational development, and training support. Passionate about strengthening primary care as the backbone of the NHS, she firmly believes the workforce is its most asset. Zehra is particularly keen to work across organisations to drive meaningful change in how the skills mix of professionals is understood and utilised ensuring staff are retained and joy is restored to working in primary care.
