"I’ve had the privilege of mentoring, two talented Fellows on the GPN Fellowship Programme, as they support the GPN Pharmacy Policy Series exploring the future of pharmacy in the UK and globally. Through bi-monthly research sessions and workshops I delivered on the UK pharmacy landscape, we’ve been diving deep into the evolving role of pharmacy in health systems.

It’s been great to support their growth and see them develop their understanding. Fellowships like this are more than just learning opportunities, they’re about building lasting networks, sparking collaboration, and empowering early-career professionals to lead with confidence.

Excited to see where their journey takes them next".

My time as a fellow at GPN was an incredible learning experience. Starting in the social media team, I gained hands-on skills in crafting messages that made complex healthcare policy issues accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. The fellowship gave me the confidence to experiment, refine, and grow as a communicator. Over time, I was entrusted with leading the team, which taught me the importance of collaboration, strategy, and amplifying others' voices. That journey, from fellow to team lead, not only shaped my professional path but also deepened my commitment to using communications as a tool for impact and change.

Through my work on the Ethiopia policy series, I have been able to ge global perspectives on healthcare. â€‹I have developed the ability to multitask, organise roundtables, which has helped me engage with more industry professionals, who have given me insight into the world of public policy and healthcare. Understanding the policies related to the 10-year plan and primary care. I have worked on roundtables which have a futuristic perspective on these policies by involving technological development and AI in these discussions.
