Amna Khan-Patel

​Amna is a Clinical Fellow at NHS England in the Digital Programme and leads Clinical Pharmacy Education and Training an NHS Trust. She enhances healthcare through strategic project management and previously a national project on closed-loop medicines management. As chair of the North East and Yorkshire Inclusive Pharmacy Practice Steering Group, she advocates for diverse leadership to health inequalities. Amna also promotes digital skills in pharmacy as a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Digital Pharmacy Expert Advisory Group.

A published author and recognised driver of service innovation, she brings expertise in strategic commissioning, workforce planning, policy development, and equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) leadership. She serves as an expert advisor on national boards, shaping policy and driving system-wide improvements. A committed leadership coach and mentor, she is dedicated to fostering sustainable, equitable health outcomes through practical, scalable strategies.

Dr. Jihad Malasi

Jihad is a General Practitioner with over two decades of experience in primary care, global health, and health economics. He currently serves as the Clinical Lead for Mental Health and NHSE GP Tutor within the Kent and Medway ICS. For the past two years, Jihad has worked with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) on the evaluation of MedTech and digital technologies. As a Health Education England Fellow, he has conducted extensive research into healthcare economies across Asia, Europe, and the USA. He advises the NHS England Global Health Consortium on primary care and health economic policy, with a focus on international knowledge exchange and strategy.

Ravijyot is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through value-based healthcare, population health, and inclusive care. She advocates for sustainable, personalized, and holistic care, working to reduce health inequalities and promote better health for all.

​Maria is the Pharmaceutical Policy and Access Lead at the Global Policy Network and a Visiting Professor and Clinical Academic Fellow. Her professional experience spans over 11 years across clinical pharmacy, NHS strategy, and global public health. Previously, she served as a Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), where she led national programmes in medicines governance. Maria’s work focuses on antimicrobial stewardship, health inequalities, and policy innovation. She serves on the editorial board of the European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy and was recognized as one of The Pharmaceutical Journal’s Women to Watch in 2024 for her contributions to equitable access to medicines.

She works closely with GP colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. With a rich background spanning community pharmacy, commissioning, and secondary care, Nasrin brings a breadth of experience to her role. She is particularly passionate about influencing healthcare policy to enhance the overall patient experience.

Stephen Riley is a senior healthcare leader and registered pharmacist with over 18 years of experience across the NHS, private, and voluntary sectors. He currently serves as Deputy Regional Chief Pharmacist at NHS England Northwest and is a member of the GPhC Fitness to Practice Committee. Riley has held national policy roles, chaired multiple pharmacy committees, and worked with organizations like the PDA, Pharmacist Support, NICE, and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. He is a strong advocate for professional development, inclusion, and diversity in healthcare.

Her work focuses on health informatics and the deployment of technology-enabled models of care, including AI-driven population health analytics and virtual wards. Beyond her NHS appointments, Matea is the Director of Partnerships and System Transformation at KneuHealth and serves as an Expert-in-Residence at London Business School. ​Tase Oputu is a senior pharmacy and health-systems leader with over 25 years experience spanning hospital pharmacy, integrated care boards and national professional advocacy. She is Associate Director of Medicines Value & Performance at NHS Kent & Medway ICB, where she leads high cost medicines strategy, financial stewardship and system wide optimisation programmes. A Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Tase is Chair of the English Pharmacy Board and a member of the NHS Assembly the only pharmacist in this national forum championing the role of pharmacy in population health, equity, research and innovation. Her leadership spans major formulary and governance reforms, cross sector medicines implementation and the establishment of collaborative clinical pathways, alongside long standing contributions to inclusive leadership and sustainability. She is a committed advocate for embedding research, analytics and evidence-driven policy into frontline care. Tase’s work reflects a values-led commitment to equitable, high-value and sustainable medicines policy at local, national and global level.

​Carina is a Professor of Pediatrics and an Allergy Specialist Dietitian. Her research focuses on food allergy prevention and the interaction between nutrition and immunology. She earned her PhD from the University of Southampton and is a registered dietitian in the United Kingdom and the United States. She is a senior advisor to Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) and chairs the EAACI Immunomodulation and Nutrition group. Carina has contributed to national and international clinical guidelines, including those for NICE (UK), NIAID (US), and EAACI. She is the editor of The Health Professional's Guide to the Nutrition Management of Food Allergies and has received numerous awards from international allergy societies for her research.

Preety is the Regional Antimicrobial Stewardship Lead at NHS England (South East) and the former Regional Chief Pharmacist. She previously served as the Deputy Senior Responsible Officer for the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme in the Kent and Medway ICS. She is a Director and Independent Trustee of the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) and an Honorary Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Antimicrobial Expert Advisory Group (AmEAG). Her work centers on clinical governance, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and system transformation within complex healthcare environments. She is an alumna of the Nye Bevan leadership programme and brings strategic insight through board-level roles and active engagement in community leadership and governance.
