Government Calls for Evidence

Black Homelessness.png

In England, Black individuals face a disproportionately high risk of homelessness, driven by structural inequalities across housing, health and social systems. Despite policy efforts, racial disparities persist, exposing gaps in prevention and culturally responsive support.

This project examines these drivers and sets out an equity focused action plan to prevent and reduce homelessness among Black communities, drawing on independent evidence and practitioner insights.

This report has been accepted by the UK Government in their call for evidence.
